Location of Chalet Motor Inn
The Chalet Motor Inn is located on Bourbong Street which is the main street of Bundaberg. We are just 500 meters from the train station and the CBD of Bundaberg. Coming from the south, you come in on the Isis Highway and then straight onto Takalvan Street. You keep following Takalvan Street until the road veers to the right where the Bundaberg Base Hospital is on your left hand side. You are then on Bourbong Street and we are located a further 500 metres down on the right hand side just past Officeworks. U Turns mean you have easy access to cross the street. When travelling from the North, the easiest route is to turn on the right exit on the first roundabout as you pass the North Bundaberg Water tower. This takes you onto Hinkler Avenue and then across the new Tallon Traffice Bridge. When coming of the bridge, turn right into Bourbong Street and we are 500 meters down the road on the right. Our address is 242 Bourbong Street Bundaberg Qld 4670.
From Brisbane CBD proceed North along Gympie road until you find the Sunshine Coast exits. Proceed until you exit on to the M1 which is the Bruce Highway. From here you travel approximately 4 hours until you reach the township of Childers. At Appletree Creek which is 5km to the north of Childers there is a clearly marked overpass which takes you off the Bruce Highway and onto the Isis Highway with a direct route to Bundaberg which will take approximately 25 minutes.
From Brisbane Airport, turn right at the first big roundabout which directs you to the Sunshine coast exits. Follow this through approx 20km until you join the M1 which is the Bruce Highway at Pine Rivers. From here proceed on the M1 to Bundaberg. From here you travel approximately 4 hours until you reach the township of Childers. At Appletree Creek which is 5km to the north of Childers there is a clearly marked overpass which takes you off the Bruce Highway and onto the Isis Highway with a direct route to Bundaberg which will take approximately 25 minutes.
